Title: M3 brakes on my e36
Post by: Sean_318is on January 08, 2010, 04:36:20 AM
Can I fit the M3 front brakes to my car, Calipers, bigger discs etc? I've got some 17" wheels, whould they fit over the M3 equipment?

Cheers, Sean

You need the M3 calipers, discs, pads, knuckles, and 17" wheels for everything to work right.

Stock E36 knuckles are too small for E36 M3 brakes.

Thanks for the info! :) Are they significantly different or would just uprated discs and pads be better?

It'd be cheaper, unless you can find all the parts for a good price.

I have TMS brakes all around on my 318i and they feel amazing. Car stops good.

Of course it could be better, and when they wear out I am going to do the
E46 330I brake upgrade.
