I came across a post on r3v where some members were discussing that IE is now selling black bushings that are different in design and color than the ones I have. Have they been improved? Has anyone had any problems with the red version, primarily fitment?

dont install them trust me, they fit like shit

nick, whats the adjustable gear like? (the weld on not the bushings)

I just don't get these...
I've got the K-MAC's in the rear and they seem to fit and function well. But, I'd reccomend just going with factory eccentric bushings and being done with it!

I got some poly ones in there. I do not think that they made too much of a difference, although they squeak a little. The only plus is that they are a lot easier to install then the OE rubber ones.

You probably have the same one's I do... yeah, they are pretty noisy. They ARE easier to install as they come in two halves. :D

Called IE and pparently they're just different in color.

well didnt the people on r3v say the new ones they got were 2 peice?

Hmmm mine were 1 piece (well, 1 poly piece, 1 steel insert). I have never used the eccentric ones, or adjustable so perhaps they do something. The poly ones I guess made a LITTLE difference. Unless you are already in there and have the subframe off, it is probably not worth the work if you are just upgrading. If you have blown stock rubber ones, you COULD get poly ones to make installation easier.

I'm dropping my RSF again soon, so I'll take some pics of the K-MAC adjustable eccentrics I got from BavAutosport. They are noisy, but I figure I'll keep them. To be honest, I don't know if they make any noticable difference.

The OEM ones Are very easy to install. They go right in with a gear puller.
The offset ones require knowing which way you need to go in changing the alignment.
Same with K-Macs.
You need a camber guage and toe indicator of some sort or else go to an alignment shop and have them do it for you.
They both require experimentation as changing one setting effects the other one.
Only the IE kit allows independent setting of camber an toe.

well it seems good, though i havnt even got it alighed or driven much with it due to engine issues. The install is kind of a pita i guess, and might be expensive if you dont know how to weld. I just had them tacked on there for checking fitment, i welded all the way around them

did you get the ones pictured on their website or ones with a tack welded washer? Just heard theres a couple of different versions and jeff wont answer my emails....

i got the ones pictured. I actaully wish i had the ones with the washer as it looks like there is a lot more room for adjustment

people say that theres more movement with the 'cheapo' version, but they look really cheap and hard to adjust.
When did you order them out of interest?
