Title: My m42's sump is to low.
Post by: LeonN on December 29, 2009, 01:48:03 PM
Well realy my sump is the same as all the rest but it is to low for my aplecation. The engion is from a uk e30is and is going into my 7 style car. Problem is I need to take 25mm off the sump. I work in an enganeering shop so choping and replaiting wuld be a diddle and replasing the drain plug canot be hard. Fit some baffles two.
Is this going to upset the oil fead? Also the way I see it taking that of the sump although decreesing the sump capasatey will not oulter the oil level if less oil is yoused. Am I right?

Can or has it been dun and haw?

Leon

I am sory for my spelling but I am dyslexic. Please forgive me.

1. What's a 7 style car?
2. Are you related to Alton?
