Title: m42 Alternator relocation plates (feeler)
Post by: visionracingdevelopments on December 23, 2009, 03:35:22 PM: I am looking at getting some M42 alternator relocation plates and spacers made. The plates will be water jet cut from 6082 aluminium and the spacers CNC machined.

Some might be thinking 'Why?' but if you're planning a super charger conversion then it will help you out alot and free up some space on the useful side of the engine.

There will be 4 available and will cost £40 + delivery each (Mine cost me far more than this).

that looks like I would have to lay down or jack it up in the air to tighten alt belt, plus all the wires near the hot manifold
I dont have a/c or p/s belts, so the one alt is easy to get at and not really in my way
but cleaver idea , and useful I am sure in some applications
