Title: no heat

k before 2 days ago the heater in my 93 bmw 318 worked fine, but today it snowed alot and I went to turn the car on to warm it up, it just blows cold air, no heat at all. the temp outside is 10°F very very cold:mad:

Might be the valve.  They have an electrically controlled valve, it's not mechanical like the e30.  I'm not sure how it works though, here's a pic (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=CA53&mospid=47490&btnr=64_0126&hg=64&fg=18)...

well tonight I went to check the antifreeze level and just saw ice in there:D
guess I put too much water when I was changing my water pump. tonight was a bit warmer and the ice melted when the engine got warmer, so now theres heat;) just need to add more antifreeze
