does anyone have a alternator in good working condition that they have laying around that they might want to sell?

Before you go replacing the whole unit, have you checked the voltage regulator?

I have a Bosch Voltage regulator I purchased from Pelican before I realized I needed a new alternator.  PM me if interested.
