my car began sputtering and running poorly in low RPM up to about 2-2.5k a week ago. olny really once its completely warm. ive changed the plugs, cant see any shorts or arcs at nite....
just curious if anyone else mite have had this happen....
going to check my ground-straps, wondered if it mite be a sensor tho...???

I've been having the same issue, except it happens off and on. Recently, more often than not. In low RPMs, it'll sputter and run terribly, especially when accelerating, and the idle will drop really low and sometimes die. Past 2K, it'll sometimes bleed off power until I move the accelerator. The CEL goes off and on and I get the 1244 code when I test it, so I've replaced the camshaft position sensor, but that didn't do anything. I've also done the "Mess under the intake" hose delete, and installed new injectors, but the problem's still there.
What's weird to me is that the problem will go away for a little bit sometimes, and that if the idle is really bad, I can restart the car and it will idle fine. That makes me think it's got something to do with a bad sensor, I just have no idea which one.

check your fuel pressure. i had the same issues including the 1244 code and my fuel pump was only putting out 17 psi

Check your O2 sensor, if wires are intact, remove the sensor and clean it. That did it for me, now im running smooth as silk.
