Title: removing Avital Hurricane remote/alarm
Post by: 2761377 on November 29, 2009, 01:05:32 PM
our favorite whipping boy, the Previous Owner, had partially installed the aforementioned remote/alarm. it only functions as remote entry, which i don't need/want. it is an unsanitary installation and must go.

avital themselves won't kick out either operators or installation manual. it seems to me the best way to un-install it is to follow in reverse the factory instructions. apparently, it involves the main loom going into the fusebox.

this manual is available for download from several companies but i was hoping someone here could hook me up for free. if not the manual, then advice/cautions. said person may have everything i remove and the one remote that came with the car.

thanks
