I'm planning on organizing a BMW classic car show in New Jersey for either June or July 2010. I work at BMW of Mt. Laurel in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The dealership is very supportive of doing classic BMW cars shows and I'm sure they would be more than receptive to having a car show and giving out prizes for best in show and etc. What I'm trying to find out is how many of you in the Virgina, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Conneticutt area would be interested in attending? There is not a definite date picked out yet, because I'd like to see how many would like to attend first. There will be no entry fees or participation fees. The only expense is you coming to the show. If you are interested, please answer this thread with a response.

I'd attend from PA....
May want to hold this in June as the Deutsche Classic (PA) and BMW Fest East (NJ) are both in July....Well they were this year..

You may want to hit up other BMW Forums and post this in their "regional" sections, as you would get a much greater response. I'd be willing to bet you would get those from the Tri-State area (ie: NJ/PA/DE) and also some trickle ins from NY/MD as well. :)
This would definitely be a good show, because as you know, we don't get many BMW meets in that area (for some unknown reason), so anything to bring together a bunch of BMW Enthusiasts would be great for us and the Dealership...

The date is now set in stone. The DeSimone BMW Classic BMW Car Show will be on Saturday, June 19, 2010. We are planning for it to be an all day event. All BMW's that are no longer in production are welcome, no registration fees, and early registration will be available online within 60 days of the event. I will have a lot more information in the coming months, but I promise you it will be one you will not want to miss.

New updates. The show is not just going to be a lot of pretty BMW's looking for a prize. The BMW Corporate Headquarters are sending representatives for The M Brand and The 5 Series Group to the car show. The new 5 Series is being introuduced to the world in June 2010 and what better way to take pictures, see it, touch it, and feel it than at a car show.

Yesterday, I went to a BMW meet at Liberty State Park in New Jersey. The park is on the water located directly behind the Statue of Liberty. It was very surprising to see over 100 BMW's at the show. BMW had representation from practically every model new and old. One member even drove his Lamborgini and stole the show. It was a lot of fun and really made everyone appreciate the time, effort, and personalization everyone has put in their own BMW. If a small group like this can bring 100 people together, DeSimone wants to bring 500 together at it's dealership on June 19th. None of you will be disappointed if you attend.
