Title: E30 Door sill makeover
Post by: CenCal318i on November 10, 2009, 12:42:43 PM
I was at the junkyard the other day and I came accross a late model 5 series and I took the door sill badges it had that read BMW. I have installed one in my car so far but I placed it backward but here is what it looks like so far. I will finish this mod by the end of the week and post more pics.
Let me know what u think!

Looks ok, but looks backwards. You should be able to read it when getting into the car, not getting out. I have ///M5 sills on my e28 m5 and it is opposite of what you got.

Thanks. I did notice I did it backwards but I have an extra sill, this one was a test run. I did find my dads dremmel tool after I spent a half hour cutting with the xacto blade.

How funny that u comment because I was just checking out ur car in member profiles. Ur car is looking nice man I like the 10" sub placement.

The door seals really look good, but once you fix the problem it will make a statement.
